10-year Express Limited Warranty

A home represents the largest investment that most people will make during their lifetime. Backing our commitment to you is a 10-year Express Limited Warranty that comes with each home we deliver. Our warranty program relies on clear industry standards and is underwritten by a national leader. In addition, if you sell your home within the ten year limited warranty period, the balance of the coverage may be transferred to a new owner.

• 1-year Workmanship/Materials Warranty

  Banner Communities provides a basic Material and Workmanship Warranty covering all of the components of your home from the date of closing, or occupancy; whichever comes first.

  During the first year, we will schedule Customer Care Visits with you at 30-days, 6-months, and, 11-months to assess your home and allow you to request any repairs not meeting standards described in the "Workmanship Standards" contained in your Customer Care Warranty Procedures Manual, and "Construction Quality Standards" contained in your Express Limited Warranty policy.

  Throughout the process we will ask for your feedback on how we are doing and what we can do better. Of course, during the first year you may also complete and forward warranty service requests at your convenience.

• 2-year Delivery Systems Warranty

  Banner Communities warrants your Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning systems for two-years from the date of your closing, or occupancy; whichever comes first. In some instances a manufacturer's warranty for equipment or other components may exceed the two year warranty, so you should consult the manufacturer's warranty information provided to you at the closing of your home.

• 10-year Structural Warranty

  Your home is warranted against major structural defects for a period of 10-years from the date of your closing, or occupancy; whichever comes first. Major structural components insured under the program include the following:

  • Steel foundation and piers
  • Load bearing wood framing or steel
  • Floor framing - joists & trusses
  • Roof framing - rafters & trusses
